Keyboard Shortcut Doesn't Work

PRoblem

Keyboard shortcut just beeps (OPTION-COMMAND-Letter on Macintosh, CONTROL-Letter in WIndows) in MacNail construction management software

Diagnosis

make sure Manager is open
is it right letter combo?
HOLD DOWN option and command keys, and type the letter while they are still down

Solution

If none of the above works, maybe the Manager is damaged. Easiest to just replace the manager. You can also check the menu definitions (e.g. Edit.menu) to see the macros that are run by each command, and then check the definted name for each command. NOTE-- if two macros use the same letters, it is unpredicable which Excel will use.
