Floppy Disk Errors

PRoblem

floppy disk error---“not a Mac disk” or disk error when copying. Can't read disk. Damaged floppies while using MacNail construction management software

Diagnosis

• if one disk--must have been damaged in mail, we will replace it for free within 30 days of order
• if many disks--probably they have poor disk sanitation, or have a bad floppy disk DRIVE.

Solution

bad sanitation-- see P&P 201 for advice on taking care of floppies used in MacNail construction software
bad drive- -Try to have it adjusted at dealer or repair place. Can also replace with external floppy drive ($100 or so)
