Worksheet is Always Protected

documents always remain protected after performing operations.
how to leave document unprotected in MacNail construction management software?

Diagnosis

stress to user that it's much safer not to fiddle with this setting, and that it's better to work on protected docs. However if they insist, they can change the Manager so it doesn't protect worksheets when done.

Solution

This is a defined name in the mgr. To fix:

1. Bring mgr to front (whichever mgr is running).
2. Choose Formula\Define name.
3. Select "always.protect" from name list
4. Change =TRUE to =FALSE in the "refers to " field.
5. Click on Add button, then click ok.
