Special Query Searches

DIAGNOSIS

(see also item 126). Here are some tricks on using the query box:

SOLUTION

type = into a column will find all blank entries in that column
type <> will find non-blank entries
type ="=a" will find all entries in that column that exactly match the letter a (or whatever letter(s) you type in). Note that typing just an "a" will find all entries in that column CONTAINING the letter a.

NOTE-- Goldenseal accounting software offers a much better find function!
