DIAGNOSIS
They want to see the year in MacNail accounting software files.
SOLUTION
Showing the Year
The dates listed in Ledgers and Logs are formatted so they don’t show the year. To see the year on each line
item, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Options menu, choose Display, and turn on Row and Column Headings.
2. Go to the Options menu again, and choose Unprotect Document.
3. Click on the entire column that has dates in it.
4. Choose Number from the Format menu, then choose a date format with a year in it (e.g. m/d/yy).
5. Go to the Options menu, and choose Protect Document. Do not type in a password!
6. If you want to hide the Row and Column headings, go to the Options menu, choose Display, and turn off
that option.
