PROBLEM

when they use *Post to Ledger, it overwrites void transactions in their ledger!

DIAGNOSIS

Post to Ledger doesn't realize items are void, so it still fills in a check there while using MacNail Construction Accounting Software

SOLUTION

it looks for first zero value in pay out/deposit columns (working its way up from bottom). If void checks, can enter .00001 into either deposit or payout column for that line, and it'll avoid using it.

COMMENTS

NOTE-- Goldenseal accounting software does not have this problem, since you change status of void checks to Void.
