Profit & Loss and Version 3.0

PROBLEM

Error message: “file must be converted to version 3.0”.

DIAGNOSIS

Did they update to latest version of MacNail Construction Accounting Software?
If so, check p &l column heading of file. Should be “p&l”, not anything else.

SOLUTION

MacNail accounting software has some code that checks that heading for file type and warns. The update changes files but they may have gone to a backup or otherwise gotten a file with older format.
