Did Not Enounter Halt

PROBLEM

tries to print checks from ledger, gets macro error "did not encounter RETURN or HALT" or something similar.

DIAGNOSIS

tries to print checks from ledger, gets macro error "RETURN or HALT expected", when using MacNail Construction Accounting Software.

SOLUTION

is bug in MacNail Accounting 3.4, dated approximately 4/1/93 or earlier: cell H52 has a "GOTO(A977)" at the end, should be "GOTO(H98)". If they're not too spastic about it, walk them through the change over the phone, otherwise send them new acctg 3.4 update disk.
