PROBLEM
getting a date range with extract special
not getting items in extract special when using a range
of dates in MacNail Construction
Accounting Software.
DIAGNOSIS
1. unprotect document
2. change one of the other criteria headings to be 'date'
3. under the first 'date', type in >=3/1/95 or whatever
4. under the second 'date', type in <4/1/95 or whatever
SOLUTION
if not getting items, make sure both are legitimate dates! If they use 2/29 when not a leap year,
or 4/31, 6/31 etcetera, it won't find anything.
also check other criteria cells to make sure nothing is in them. Have user select each crieria cell and hit
backspace/delete key.
HINT-- yet another place where Goldenseal accounting software is MUCH easier.
