Job Cost Only Status |
|||||
Problem They have entered expenses with Job Cost Only status. They don't show up in a job cost breakdown. What does Job Cost Only mean? Diagnosis There was a bug in some early versions that skipped Job Cost Only in one of the job cost breakdowns (when you double-click and "drill down" to more details). Fixed a while back. Solution If they have the buggy version, use one of the job cost reports instead (e.g. Reports--Projects--Cost by Category). Expenses entered as Job Cost Only will show up in job cost reports as an expense, but they aren't included in Accounts Payable (or Payroll if a Labor Hours record). Use them for jobs that were 1/2 done when they started using Goldenseal job costing software. That way they can see all expenses. Comments Entered 6/23/04 by Dennis. |
