Setting File Extensions

Problem

Double click on a Goldenseal icon doesn't open the right thing

Diagnosis

The file extension is not working correctly-- it is set during the installation.

Solution

1. Open the Folder Options dialog
WIN 98-- click Start button, choose Settings, choose Folder Options
WIN 2000-- click Start button, choose Settings, choose Control Panel. Folder Options is one of the items.
2. click the File Types tab. You can delete items, add items, or change the application (.EXE) which opens a given file extension.
3. Goldenseal business management software should get the .glds file extension.

NOTE-- we apparently screwed up on this on some early installers. This hasn't been a problem recently.
