Update Button Not Enabled

Problem

Update Prices button in Estimates is not enabled (vsn 1.07)

Diagnosis

This was an oversight in the shipping vsn 1.07 of Goldenseal estimating software.
Can either wait for new vsn to ship or edit in ResEdit as described below.

Solution

1. Use ResEdit to open the GS 1.07 application.
2. Open MEMB by double-clicking on its icon.
3. Scroll down to id #109, "Estimates" and open it.
4. Scroll down to #23, Update Prices (UPDP) and find the line 'Cannot Be Edited?'
5. click the button for 0 (zero).
6. Choose Save from the File menu, then quit ResEdit.
7. Check button function in GS, should be fine.

We included ResEdit on a few of the later Silver version CD's. You can also download it from the Apple website, or from other places (e.g. www.macworld.com)
