Diagnosis

We suggest that people itemize overhead, profit, contingencies and other "soft costs" in the estimate itself. That way it's easier to job cost actual costs vs estimated that way.

Solution

Starting with version 2.7 of Goldenseal Estimating Software, you can "hide" overhead and other soft costs in printed forms and reports. For more details on that, click here .

If they really want to "hide" overhead in the estimate itself, they can do that via the Markup System in the Assemblies or Cost Items included in the estimate.
