Cost Summary Switched

Problem

Cost Summary in an Estimate shows the wrong values in the equipment and material costs per unit.

Diagnosis

They click the Cost Summary button in a version 2.9 estimate. The cost per area for equipment and materials are switched.

Solution

This is a problem in 2.9 only. It's fixed in version 3.0 of Goldenseal Estimating Software.

They can do the following to make the switch right away:
1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Transactions from the submenu.
2. Enter Estimates in the Transaction popup field at upper left corner of window.
3. Enter Costs into the Layout popup field.
4. Click on the equipment field (right side, 2nd from top) and drag it to the side.
5. Drag the material field up one.
6. Put the equipment field where the material field was.
7. Close the layout window and save changes.
