Estimating Dimensions Menu

Problem

Options-- estimate dimensions menu is empty! Ditto estimate locations.

Diagnosis

were they just in the Custom Layouts command?

Solution

If they have Estimate open and switch to Custom Layouts, it erases the dimensions list.

Close Estimates window and re-open, and they'll be back.

If that doesn't work, check Options--Preferences--Interface. What is the value of the Show Custom Dimensions Only checkbox? If it's on, turn it off (it should only apply to paint, framing, and other starter files that don't use the 'standard' construction dimensions found in the regular Goldenseal estimating software).
