Problem
Cost
Items don't show up in the item field,
in the component table for Assemblies
Diagnosis
Try the following:
1. Have them erase the Category cell in that row and try again.
2. An alternative to #2 is to change the category system in Component Category System, to
make sure it matches the one in the Cost Item.
3. Ask what version of Goldenseal Estimating
Software they use. If 1.08, it's
probably caused by a known bug.
Solution
1. With no category, all cost items are listed. The item they want was probably in
a different category.
2. If they have a category, it only lists cost items that use that category.
3. Known Bug only in version 1.08 of Goldenseal estimating software-- occurs only when there
are more cost items than assemblies. They can work around it by creating Assemblies (at least
as many as they have Cost Items),
and then go back and fill them in.
