Sorted Running Totals

Problem

Run Total seems to be wrong after using the Sort cmd in version 1.08 or earlier.

Diagnosis

If Sort has been done on an account's transactions, the Run Total can appear to be messed up. This is because the transactions still have the Running Total from their original position in the list.

Solution

Easy enough. Do a Sort by Object ID, in Ascending Order.
This should restore transactions to the order they were created in.

Comments

In Goldenseal Accounting Software version 1.09 and later, it redoes the running totals after a sort.
