BidMagic Installation (Windows 95)

Problem

installing with Win95, checking installation of BidMagic Construction Estimating Software or BM Demo

Diagnosis

The installer should make an icon for BM or BM Demo- it'll show as a window with an icon, right after the install. Can also get to it by clicking the Start button, choosing Applications, and selecting BidMagic Template (unless they didn't have it install an icon at the end of the installer process).

Solution

Alternative way to start: using My Computer or Win Explorer, find BM or BM Demo folder, open BM Files, double-click on BidMagic.EXE, then open the BM15TMPL.BID file.
if doing that says it's missing files, they may have done a partial install, or some files may have been somehow trashed.
