Supervision too High

Problem

General cond. and supervision are too high!

Diagnosis

There are two independent ways of handling supervision in BM estimating software; either as % (or a $$ figure) added into the Soft Costs card; or as a line item in specs (the std dbase comes with a couple of supervision items in Gen Cond 2). Obviously user should do one or the other, but not both, otherwise costs will be too high.

Solution

Remove the unwanted supervision line item from gen cond, OR remove the soft cost % (or $$ amt) from Soft Costs card in BidMagic Construction Estimating Software.
