BidMagic Other Costs

Problem

costs that they have typed in directly are half what they should be
incorrect cost for 'other' items in Specs portion of BidMagic Construction Estimating Software

Diagnosis

check the wage rate- if zero, that's the problem

Solution

use a wage rate. If zero wage rate, the assumption is that it's volunteer labor. Because 'other' costs are considered as 1/2 labor and 1/2 material, half gets lost.
Or if they are using volunteer labor and really need to have zero wage rate, type in double the cost for those items.
