Exporting Memory Error

Problem

Mac only: gives "out of memory" error when creating an export file, using any of Export Specifications, Export Bottom Line, etc commands in BidMagic Construction Estimating Software.

Diagnosis

does the name of the bid have a quotation mark in it? If so, HC cannot handle it, and the code that saves the file will break. Change the bid name and this will fix the problem.

Solution

If the above doesn't fix it, it may in fact be a memory problem- try the usual, upping mem partition, turning off extensions, testing the command on the standard template etc.
