Problem plumbing card- hot water system not calculating right Diagnosis This is a bug in BidMagic Construction Estimating Software that has recently been fixed (3/25/93). heatcalc on the dimensions 6 card is wrong-- it puts in the 'add for oil heat' or 'add for coal/wood' number as the only cost in Plumbing, if it's a hot water system. Solution rather than change the code, we should just change the unit prices: change line 20 to 'hot water
system, gas' and keep same prices. change line 21 to 'hot water system, oil' and add line 20 unit costs to existing
line 21 costs. change line 22 to 'hot water system, wood/coal' and add line 20 unit costs to current line 22 costs. COMMENTS Entered 3/25/93 by Vinay. |
