BidMagic Unexpected Error 911

Problem

getting "unexpected error 911" when launching BidMagic Construction Estimating Software application or template.

Diagnosis

usually occurs in Sys7.1, usually some kind of extension conflict. Best is to re-start the computer with extensions off (hold down shift key). If it works ok, it's an extension conflict.

Solution

possible culprits: virus-detection software; auto-compression software. If they have disk compression software like Optimem, DiskDoubler or AutoDoubler running, refer to item #269 for how to handle that.
