Replacing BidMagic Estimate Files

Problem

numbers not calculating, bid price not updating, any other kind of weird problem where the bid, template or application appears to be corrupted or damaged in BidMagic Construction Estimating Software
bid can't be opened, bombs when opened etc

Diagnosis

Weird results, weird problems that haven't been reported
need to replace application and/or template, but salvage existing bid

Solution

1. Save the bid as an archive.
2. If they've changed unit prices, also export unit prices.
3. Reinstall the complete BidMagic (template and application)
4. If they've changed unit prices, import the unit prices into the template
5. Make a bid from the template, and import the project archive
