Can't Understand Item

Problem

can't understand popup, cannot find card field globals, can't understand dopop
any kind of mystery error message, other weird problems, BM opened by HyperCard or HC Player

Diagnosis

check the apple menu. If it says 'About HyperCard', somehow HyperCard is running it, not the BidMagic construction estimating software application.

Solution

1. Double-click on BidMagic Application, open the bid from the Open dialog? Sometimes this works, sometimes it still opens Hypercard.
2. Try re-installing the BidMagic estimating program? The application may be damaged. Make sure they do it with extensions off.
3. Find and remove HyperCard or HyperCard Player, if they don't use it.
4. Rebuild the desktop? Finder may just be confused.
