BidMagic Material Cost Updating

Problem

user reports they can't edit a material price in the Unit Price Editor, or can't see it, or the field is "missing".

Diagnosis

This appears to happen when someone has installed and used the material manager (takeoff module) portion of BidMagic Construction Estimating Software, and then either moved or removed it.

The bids 'expect' the takeoff mgr to be available, and so the mat. pr. is locked- because the price comes from assembly data and isn't typed in directly.

Solution

In the two cases this has occurred, a reinstall of the takeoff module fixed the problem. I'm assuming this always will work, but sometimes a reinstall of the whole package may be necessary

long term: I can take a look at this in the code and see if there's some way to given an informative error msg or something.
