BidMagic Links to CAD Programs

Problem

does our program link to Chief Architect?
ArchiCAD? MiniCAD?
Solid Builder?
Can you import or export from CAD drawing programs?

Diagnosis

User wants to know about linking BidMagic Construction Estimating Software to CAD programs.

Solution

one can export various quantities and measurements out of Chief Architect and other CAD programs that do construction measurements, and then copy/paste them into MacNail Estimating or BidMagic construction estimating software.
Several of our Mac users (MiniCAD) and DOS users (Chief Architect) are doing that and like it.
There isn't any kind of automatic link however.
