Billed Sales Payment Receipt

Problem

In a Payment Receipt, Payment breakdown doesn't include billed but undeposited Sales transactions.

Diagnosis

They make a Payment Receipt and give it a breakdown for a Customer account. It fills in sales, but misses ones that have been billed but not deposited.

Solution

A bug in Goldenseal 2.92 and earlier. Fixed in versions 2.93 and later of Goldenseal accounting software.

Do they really need a payment receipt? Unlikely they should need a receipt for billed sales (this turned up in our testing rather than user complaint).

If they don't need a printed receipt for the payment, they can just use Deposit Funds to deposit the money directly (some people think they NEED payment receipts, despite all our efforts to describe them as optional).

If they really need a printed Receipt, they can create a Payment Receipt (no breakdown), put Sale into Received For popup, and enter the sale into the Reference field.
