BidMagic Estimating Menus

This section covers menu commands that have been added to BidMagic 1.5. They are not documented in the regular BidMagic construction estimating software manual.

Print Card Help

Choose Print Card Help to print the help information for the current card.

Print Material Takeoff

Choose Print Material Takeoff to print a material takeoff for the current bid. This command will print a takeoff based on the Takeoff Type setting in Preferences.

Material Prices

Choose Material Prices to open the BidMagic Material Manager from within any bid or bidding template.

Export Material Takeoff

Choose Export Material Takeoff to save a material takeoff for the current bid as a text file. This command will export a takeoff based on the Takeoff Type setting in Preferences. You can the open and customize the text file in any spreadsheet, database, or word processor.

Update Material Prices

Choose Update Material Prices to update the material prices in the Specifications section of the current bid, using the latest price information you have entered into the BidMagic Material Manager.

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software. We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program.
