Working with Assemblies
The BidMagic construction estimating software gives you complete control
over the assemblies that are used for each unit cost in your estimates.
Opening an Assembly
To view or change a material assembly, follow these steps:
1. Open any BidMagic bid or bidding template.
2. Go to the Specifications card that contains the unit price you'd like to change.
3. Click on any unit price in the desired subcategory, and choose Edit Unit Prices from the pop-up
menu.
4. This will take you to the Unit Price card. Click on the name of the item in the list of unit price
items.
5. You will see the calculated material unit cost at center right. To view or change the material
items used to calculate it, click on the Assembly button.
6. Click the Assembly button.
7. The BidMagic estimating software will show you the material assembly for 2x4 wood studs.
