Combined Materials Report

BidMagic construction estimating software also shows a Combined Materials report, which lists the grand total amount needed for each material item.

In the Combined Materials report, materials that are used in more than one line item of work will be combined into just one overall quantity.

Including Waste Factors

Most BidMagic assemblies include a waste factor that accounts for trimming waste, jobsite damage, and other losses. When material quantities are calculated in the Material Takeoff, the waste factor will be added.
If you do not want to include the waste factor, follow these steps:
1. Choose Preferences from the Navigate menu.
2. Turn off the 'add waste to takeoffs' option.
