Installing BidMagic

The BidMagic estimating package comes on two floppy disks. To load BidMagic onto your hard drive, follow these steps:

1. Put BidMagic Disk 1 into your floppy disk drive.
2. Double-click on the BidMagic Installer icon. NOTE: If a window is not already open so you can see the Installer, first double-click on the floppy disk icon on the upper right side of the screen.
3. An introductory window will appear--click Continue.
4. Click Install to install all of BidMagic. Click Custom to install just some BidMagic files.
5. You will be asked for a place to install BidMagic. If you are using MacNail, click on the MacNail folder, then click Open. If you are not using MacNail, you can install BidMagic anywhere on your hard drive.
6. Click Save. The installation process may take several minutes.
7. When you are asked to insert the second BidMagic disk, put it into the floppy drive.
8. Installation is now complete! A BidMagic Folder will be on your hard disk at the location you selected in step 5. The folder contains everything you'll need to start estimating with BidMagic.
