Entering Specifications

Each Specifications card handles several construction subcategories.

EXAMPLE: The first Specifications card handles the main General Conditions category. It includes Project Overhead (general administrative costs), Building Permits, Insurance and Professional Services as subcategories.

In each of these subcategories are several possible costs that might be included in the project. As you use the BidMagic construction estimating software to put together an estimate, you have the option to include one or more specific construction items as line item costs under each subcategory.

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software. We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program.
