You can also type estimating numbers into BidMagic with the keyboard. To do so, follow these steps:
Use the mouse to
move the cursor so it is within a number field (the box to the right of a
nudge button). The cursor will change to a text editing bar.
Double-click the mouse button to select the text.
Type in a new number. NOTE: BidMagic makes sure that you only enter legitimate numbers into
number fields. If you accidentally type in a non-number, you will be alerted.
To enter the number
and move to the next field, press the Tab key on the keyboard.
HINT: Some numbers have too many decimal
places, and can't be entered with nudge
buttons. You must use the keyboard to enter them.
NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating
software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction
estimating software.
We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual
as a convenience for users of our older program.
